The event began with an introduction to Park West Gallery by its Director Morris Shapiro, followed by a lecture and autograph session with the artist. The audience was captivated by Pangborn’s stories about his childhood in Korea and eventual journey to the United States. He spoke about his development as an artist and graphic designer, as well as explaining the inspiration for his various works of art.

The American House residents were surprised and elated when Pangborn presented each of them with one of his signature scarves and ties. Park West Gallery also gave every guest a small work of art to take home as a souvenir from the event.dominic pangborn, park west gallery, american house
