Park West Gallery CEO Visits Grace Centers of Hope
Park West Gallery Founder and CEO Albert Scaglione and his wife Mitsie have had a long relationship with Grace Centers of Hope (GCH), a charitable organization whose mission addresses issues of homelessness, addiction, poverty and spiritual emptiness in the Detroit area.
Several years ago, the Scagliones made a generous financial donation to Grace Centers of Hope that greatly assisted in the remodeling of the facility’s men’s wing. Recently, GCH has been a primary recipient of Park West Gallery CARES, a philanthropic initiative by Park West Gallery to help support organizations in its communities through the donation of brand new clothing and art.
Albert and Mitsie Scaglione, along with other employees of Park West Gallery, were recently invited to tour Grace Centers of Hope’s facility in Pontiac, MI. Those invited included Mitsie’s daughter Nicky Yanke, Park West Gallery HR Director, and her husband, artist Tim Yanke, among others. Led by Pastor Kent Clark, executive director of Grace Centers of Hope, the Scagliones and others were directed through the entire building, and examples of their generosity were highlighted, including the newly remodeled men’s wing.
The Scagliones and others were also able to meet and talk with members of the community whose lives have been transformed through the assistance and services provided by Grace Centers of Hope, and there was not a single person in the crowd who was not inspired by their stories.
Park West Gallery was honored to be invited into Grace Centers of Hope, and looks forward to a long, beneficial relationship helping our community.
