Collectors surprise Park West Gallery employee with celebration

A Park West Gallery employee was surprised by his co-workers and grateful collectors in celebrating his 20-year anniversary with the company.

At the Hotel Galvez in Galveston, Texas the weekend of October 17-18, Park West Auction Coordinator Hollis Standifer received a call saying there was an emergency that required his attention. He raced down to help, but was completely surprised when he was greeted by 160 clients singing the birthday song.

Park West Auctioneer Rob Ducat helped present Standifer with a cake to help celebrate. He says Standifer’s great attention to detail and willingness to work night and day to ensure events run smoothly were more than enough cause to celebrating the occasion.

“Without his quick reactions and hard work, all the sales people would be unable to create the atmosphere for our collectors,” Ducat says. “Basically behind the scenes he and his team make it all happen!”
