Victor Spahn La Boheme Park West Gallery

Victor Spahn creates the artwork used in the opening scene of l’Opera de Bordeaux’s production of Puccini’s La Bohéme. The opera’s director visited the artist’s studio in Paris.

Beautiful music and exquisite art speak a universal language.

With that in mind (because there aren’t subtitles), enjoy this French video that features the studio and artwork of Park West Gallery artist Victor Spahn.

The video was shown as a prelude to the live presentation of l’Opera de Bordeaux’s production of Puccini’s La Bohéme that was simulcast at more than 125 theaters throughout France and Switzerland in late September.

I just want to say how amazing it was getting to meet Victor in person at the VIP event in Boston earlier this year. Victor is truely a amazing person and yet so down to earth. Thank you so much Park West for the allowing us the chance to meet this amazing artist.

Though my French is quite rusty, the video was very interesting. I wish I could have been in Boston as well.
