Benny Andrews was my college professor and art mentor throughout the 1990’s. He had an enormous impact on me-both personally and artistically. I truly believe that I am the artist I am today thanks to him. He told me early on to carve out a workspace for myself, even if it was a closet! And he was SOOO right! Lol!
I miss him dearly and remember him fondly, always :^)
