You’ve Seen His Murals, Now Watch Tony Castillo Live Painting

Come experience a consummate live painter at work. Acclaimed muralist, Tony Castillo, will be painting in our Las Vegas gallery from 11 am to 4 pm, February 5 – 8 and February 12 – 15. Much of Castillo’s work has been done with a crowd watching, so he knows how to make it fun and interesting.
Castillo, also known as ToneCastle, grew up in Vegas and has become acclaimed for his large-scale murals, live painting and bold, colorful work that appears across the city and at major events. He was selected by NBC to create a special mural for Sunday Night Football. He also worked with Park West artist Michael Godard to create a large art initiative celebrating the Las Vegas Raiders team history and to support local artists.
Although he’s known for his murals, Castillo loves to experiment in different mediums. For his residency at Park West, Castillo will trade his usual large-scale art for smaller, in-gallery live painting sessions. He describes his style as a mix of realism, with pop and abstract elements, tied together with “pops of color.” He likes to keep his work organic and original while aiming to keep each project visually dynamic and different from the last.
Come see a true Vegas native and master of his craft. It’s an art experience you can only find at Park West Gallery, located in the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, on Level Two near the Spiral Escalator. Watch new creations come to life before your very eyes, interact with the artist and explore the bold works in our newest Castillo exhibition.
