Michael Godard Takes Center Stage

Michael Godard’s artwork takes center stage at Park West Gallery in Las Vegas, now through June 11. Immerse yourself in his fantastical world, where he gives olives, strawberries, and grapes personas all their own in his latest collection, Bringing the Unexpected to Life: An Exhibition by Michael Godard.

Las Vegas natives and tourists alike will enjoy seeing Sin City through a new lens. Godard lets his imagination run wild, and it spills onto his canvases, where he depicts his chosen home with anthropomorphic creatures gallivanting about the Vegas Strip.

While his work is primarily composed of lighthearted compositions, Godard backs these humorous paintings with serious skill. He’s drawn to photorealism but acknowledges that the movement leaves something to be desired creatively. “I believe art should take you somewhere magical,” said Michael Godard. He finds a happy medium by offering stunning works of realism with a fantastical twist.
