Mikulas Kravjansky

1928–

Mikulas Kravjansky was born in Czechoslovakia in 1928. He studied at the Prague Academy of Muse Arts, focusing on art and scenography. As an internationally recognized artist, Kravjansky was the chairman of the art department of Czechoslovakia’s State Television and he created numerous designs for operas, ballets, and theatrical productions while he was there. He moved from his country to California, Florida, and then Canada, where he remains today, publishing via his own production company, creating limited edition graphic works. Today he lives on the shores of Georgian Bay where he paints and writes his own poetry and cookbooks.
