Come See Where Expression Lives in SoHo

In Art & Gallery News, Cam Rose, Joe Everson, New York Museum

One is a classically trained oil painter from Iowa, the other is a multitalented, self-taught artist from Michigan. One is inspired by the works of Raphael, Sarto and Pontormo, the other is influenced by Picasso’s advice that an artist must first learn the rules before he breaks them. Yet together, their styles and backgrounds complement each other perfectly.

The artists are Cam Rose and Joe Everson. Now through February 26, at Park West Gallery in SoHo, NYC, is your chance to engross yourself in our latest exhibit: Where Expression Lives: A Collection of Artworks by Joe Everson and Cam Rose.

Each artist came into their own in unique ways. Each makes the canvas come alive with imagination, color and practiced techniques. Together they provide a beautiful and distinct view into the world around us.

Rose got her BFA in oil painting from the University of Nebraska, Omaha. While in college, she became fascinated by the Italian Renaissance. After earning her BFA, she spent nearly five years training with master oil painter, Jeffery T. Larson, and was one of the first five students to graduate from his Great Lakes Academy of Fine Art. She is known for creating soft and colorful still life and portrait paintings. Her classically beautiful artwork is coveted by modern collectors around the world.

Everson has become known around the country as America’s singing painter. Growing up, his parents performed live music and his grandparents created visual art. After getting married and working as a fuel truck driver, Everson decided to switch gears and combine his two passions— singing and painting. This self-taught artist has now performed in front of hundreds of thousands, singing while he paints – including painting Lady Liberty while singing the national anthem before professional sports games. Collectors around the world have begun taking notice of his unique style.

Park West Gallery invites you to experience artwork that comes alive where expression lives. Immerse yourself in the collective artworks of Joe Everson and Cam Rose, now through February 26, at the SoHo Gallery – located at 411 W. Broadway – in New York City.
