Park West Gallery New York Exhibition: Autumn de Forest
Don’t miss Autumn de Forest’s solo exhibition, open now through September 17, 2025 at the Park West Soho Gallery.
With an art career spanning more than 15 years already, de Forest, born in 2001, has spent most of her life as a professional artist.
De Forest’s career soared from the minute she sold her first painting at six years old and has been dubbed an “artistic genius” by the Discovery Channel and an “advanced child prodigy” by Dr. Joanne Ruthsatz, Assistant Professor at Ohio State University and authority on clinical studies of prodigies.
Over the years, de Forest has developed multiple painting techniques in addition to using more traditional practices. Her innovative “pull painting” method involves dragging paint across a canvas with a wire, while her “wind painting” method makes use of an air compressor and diluted acrylic paint.
Her body of work has had a throughline of spiritual themes, with paintings often featuring religious symbols and iconography. Impressively, de Forest was named the recipient of the Giuseppe Sciacca International Vatican Award in Painting and Art in 2015 on the basis of her artistic aptitude, along with her significant humanitarian and charitable efforts.
Today, de Forest continues to create thought-provoking artwork.
See the heights her career has reached by visiting the current exhibition in Soho featuring her most recent work.
