Neon Dreams & Wild Things in Las Vegas

If you enjoy peering into other dimensions, you’re in for a treat when visiting our Las Vegas gallery. Now through February 19, visitors can experience Neon Dreams & Wild Things: The Artwork of Nano & Ziggy, an exhibition featuring beautifully realistic artwork by both artists that feels distinctly otherworldly.
John “Ziggy” O’Leary describes himself as “a traditional painter trapped inside a cartoonist’s body.” His art reflects the blending of those two worlds. Ziggy began his career as a graffiti artist, studied at one of New York’s most prestigious art schools, and went on to become a Top Three finalist in Park West’s Made in Vegas artist competition. He invites viewers into his imaginative world where anything is possible – whether its beings are made of champagne corks running amok on the Vegas Strip, a photorealistic frog adorned with intricate tattoos, or even Charlie Chaplin wearing his iconic hat reimagined in neon light.
Few contemporary artists have influenced the world of sculpture more than Nano Lopez. The bronze “Nanimal” sculptures he creates have been collected around the globe. Each is a recognizable animal with a unique form, combining ideas from folklore, science, industry and nature. The colors and patterns that play across their surface seem to flow out of his South American roots. Each work of art takes months to create, going from a sketch to a clay form to the final bronze sculpture.
Together their artwork creates a visual journey of wonder and creativity that draws you into their worlds. There is joy and humor, but there are also deeply felt emotions that reflect our shared human condition. Come see for yourself, now through February 19 at Park West Las Vegas, located inside the Forum Shops at Caesars Palace, on Level Two near the Spiral Escalator.
