Coastal Currents and Countryside Color: The Art of Julie Siracusa and Alexandre Renoir

In Alexandre Renoir, Art & Gallery News, Julie Siracusa, New York Museum

Discover where ocean dreams meet timeless landscapes when you visit Park West’s expansive 4,000 square foot Soho gallery on West Broadway in NYC this summer.

Starting on June 21, 2025, two contemporary artists, each known for their bold colors and joyful modern impressionism, will team up for the exciting Coastal Currents and Countryside Color: Julie Siracusa and Alexandre Renoir exhibit. Through her oil paintings of sea creatures, Siracusa aims to educate viewers about our shared oceans, coral reefs, and the animals who call the Earth’s water their home. Siracusa’s ‘Outlander Impressionism’ safely pulls viewers beneath the surface of the sea to feel what it’s like to dive a coral reef, swim alongside impossibly colorful fish, and then rise to the sun-kissed surface. Step back on land and into the idyllic world of Renoir. Alexandre, the great-grandson of the famous Pierre-Auguste Renoir, uses a palette knife to create thickly textured paintings expertly infused with dimension and depth, harkening back to Impressionism’s emphasis on light, but with an abundance of joy. The results, on land and at sea, are nothing short of serene!

Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the unforgettable exhibit of Julie Siracusa and Alexandre Renoir artwork in NYC. This free-to-enter exhibition also provides the chance to stand before artwork by some of the most famous names in the history of art, like Picasso, Dalí, Miró, and Pierre-Auguste Renoir, alongside other contemporary giants such as Michael Godard, Kre8, and Mark Kostabi.
