A Yanke Doodle makes a Habitat house a home
A โYanke Doodleโ hung by the artist himself helps makes a new Habitat for Humanity dream home just dandy for one Michigan family.
โItโs the least I can do โ provide a splash of color in somebodyโs life,โ Park West artist Tim Yanke said. โItโs an honor to hang in peopleโs homes and means more than any gallery Iโm hanging in.โ
Read about the good work that Habitat of Oakland is doing and Tim Yankeโs plans to continue donating his work to brighten the homes of the nonprofitโs future dwellings.
โThese people might not have the discretionary income to go out and buy fine art โ thatโs not at the top of the list for them right now,โ Yanke said.
โSo, if we can provide something thatโs an original painting, or some kind of embellishment an artist has done, and help make the home feel like a home โฆ itโs the least I can do,โ Yanke said. C and G News also reported on the story.
