Tim Yanke - Oakland Press Park West GalleryA โ€œYanke Doodleโ€ hung by the artist himself helps makes a new Habitat for Humanity dream home just dandy for one Michigan family.

โ€œItโ€™s the least I can do โ€” provide a splash of color in somebodyโ€™s life,โ€ Park West artist Tim Yanke said. โ€œItโ€™s an honor to hang in peopleโ€™s homes and means more than any gallery Iโ€™m hanging in.โ€

Read about the good work that Habitat of Oakland is doing and Tim Yankeโ€™s plans to continue donating his work to brighten the homes of the nonprofitโ€™s future dwellings.

โ€œThese people might not have the discretionary income to go out and buy fine art โ€” thatโ€™s not at the top of the list for them right now,โ€ Yanke said.

โ€œSo, if we can provide something thatโ€™s an original painting, or some kind of embellishment an artist has done, and help make the home feel like a home โ€ฆ itโ€™s the least I can do,โ€ Yanke said. C and G News also reported on the story.
