French artist Duaiv is known for his colorful art style, his equally colorful hair, and his penchant for applying these colors to the hottest vehicles.

From November 6-15, visit the Miami International Auto Show 2015 to view the “Cars Meet Art” exhibit, featuring the latest vehicle customized by Duaiv, a Porsche Targa 4GTS.

In the past, Duaiv has created customized paint jobs for a Ferrari 458 Spyder, a Lamborghini Avendator, Ferrari FF, and even a Suzuki Yahabuza 1300, the latter of which was on display during Art Basel 2015. He says by customizing vehicles, he is able to bring his art to people in a new and interesting way aside the traditional canvas or exhibition.

“There are people who don’t know about art unless they go to the museum,” Duaiv says. “But here, they see the car first in the street, and the art arrives to them. It is a different approach and I think it is good.”

The auto show’s exhibit highlights the urban art most often associated with Miami’s Wynwood District, and showcases the art of world-renowned artists like Duaiv that are based in the U.S. He is joined by seven other artists who are providing customized vehicles as well as matching murals.

Aside Duaiv’s Porsche, visitors can view artistic takes on vehicles from FIAT, Buick, Scion, Ram, Mazda, Hyundai and Subaru.

While at the exhibit, don’t miss the Ally Auto Alley, where you can rev up your creativity and design your own customized car on touch screen displays. Observant visitors will note that the Ally Auto Alley is decorated with a 20-foot by 60-foot wall created by none other than Park West Gallery artist David “Lebo” Le Batard.

The “Cars Meet Art” display is located on the main floor and features a DJ. For more information about the show, visit www.miamiautoshow.net.
