ALBERT SCAGLIONE, Founder & CEO
Albert Scaglione founded Park West Gallery in 1969 and is its Chief Executive Officer. Albert is as passionate about people as he is about art. Before founding Park West, Albert began his career as a mechanical engineering sciences college professor at Wayne State University in Detroit. Albert’s vision of a new way of bringing art to the world has been transformational, with over one million customers now able to enjoy the experience of collecting artwork through his ingenious efforts. Albert’s door is always open to his staff, friends and the community. In 2006, Albert and his wife Mitsie established the Park West Foundation, allowing them to give back to many in the local community through outreach programs, charitable events and an unwavering commitment to family preservation and education.

MARC SCAGLIONE, President of Park West Gallery
As President of Park West Gallery, Marc works closely with the company’s cruise ship art auction operations, as well as the merchandising, inventory, shipping, receiving and client services departments. Marc enjoys working to find new artists, artwork and acquisitions, and interacting with artists and collectors. By cruising with collectors and artists on a regular basis, he’s been able to gain a unique perspective and understand the necessities of both. He particularly enjoys bringing artists and collectors together. Marc has an abundance of anecdotes about his experiences with artists from all over the world which he loves to share with others.

JOHN BLOCK, Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, John brings nearly 20 years of industry experience to Park West, having worked in fine art printing, framing, and the cruise industry prior to joining the organization. As COO, John plays a leading role in the Park West’s sales and operations management, strategic planning, training & development, and more. John has been the Principal Auctioneer for dozens of record setting events, and he has trained countless Auctioneers, Associates, and other team members to success during his tenure.

ROBERT SCHLAGHECK, Chief Financial Officer
Robert is the Chief Financial Officer of Park West Gallery, where he oversees the organization’s financial strategy, planning, and operations. With a strong background in corporate finance, accounting, and strategic growth initiatives, Robert partners with the executive leadership team to drive sustainable profitability and ensure fiscal responsibility across all business units. In addition, Robert manages complex reporting structures, capital planning, and optimizes financial performance through data-driven decision-making while aligning financial strategy with the company’s long-term vision.

MITSIE SCAGLIONE, Corporate Secretary
Mitsie, Albert’s wife, has been at his side since Park West Gallery’s founding and, like her husband, she’s involved from top to bottom. She’s a hard working and caring person, greatly respected for her wisdom, experience, warmth and compassion. Everyone’s favorite location in the Southfield headquarters is Mitsie’s office, where the candy bowl is always full and everyone can stop by for a chat and a sweet. As the Executive Director of the Park West Foundation, Mitsie has created a dynamic organization that touches the lives of underprivileged young women in the Detroit area, all of whom lovingly refer to her as “Grandma.”

JOHN KARAY, Senior Vice President of Operations
John oversees the day-to-day operations of internal and external movement of all artwork in and out of the Miami Lakes fulfillment center. This immense responsibility involves moving art collections all over the world under the inherent daily challenges of constantly changing inventory, as well as the heightened security and conservation concerns that come with transporting fine art. John is also involved in administrating the Park West compliance department.

NICKY YANKE, Vice President of Human Resources
As Vice President of Human Resources for Park West Gallery, Nicky finds her work to be both challenging and rewarding. She’s responsible for negotiation, implementation and administration of employee benefits plans, is involved with the daily implementation and coordination of staff training, and handles all personal interaction with employees concerning HR matters, in both Michigan and Florida. Nicky frequently travels to coordinate orientation seminars and she administrates the company’s insurance programs. Nicky also oversees travel budgets and itineraries for artists, agents, contractors and vendors associated with all Park West companies.

CHARLIE CARAYA, Vice President of Fulfillment Operations
Charlie brings more than 30 years of domestic and international manufacturing and distributing experience to Park West Gallery. As Vice President of Fulfillment Operations, he oversees the full scope of operations for the Miami Lakes Fulfillment Center, consistently utilizing his expertise of best practice strategies to improve shipping operations so artwork can be in the hands of our collectors quickly and efficiently.

TIM FINDLAY, Vice President of Sales and Training
Tim celebrates 20 years with the company in 2025. A graduate of the University of British Columbia with a degree in Kinesiology and Business, he earned top honors as the faculty’s highest-ranking graduate. He began his career as an Auctioneer at sea, spending over a decade leading auctions, launching five vessel takeouts, and serving as a Regional Sales Trainer. Transitioning shoreside, Tim advanced through leadership roles as National Sales Manager and Director of Sales before becoming Vice President. Throughout his career, he has trained thousands of sales professionals, emphasizing excellence and personal growth. Away from work, Tim enjoys competitive baseball, beer-league hockey, coaching his daughters’ sports teams, and delivering world-class dad jokes.

MICHAEL KARAY, Associate Vice President of Merchandising
As one of the grandsons of Founder Albert Scaglione, Michael was immersed in the world of Park West Gallery from an early age. He began his career with the company in the framing and shipping department at its Southfield, Michigan headquarters and later worked on the assembly line at the Miami Lakes facility during his college summers, where he packaged artwork for international distribution. He also gained valuable experience in operations and logistics while serving as an Art Preparator aboard cruise ships. After earning a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mississippi, Michael worked as an Application Engineer for a Tier Two automotive supplier before returning to Park West Gallery. In his current role, he helps cultivate relationships with emerging artists, contributes to the acquisition of new artwork, and supports the management of cruise ship inventory and logistics across the organization.

MANDI ROMINE, Associate Vice President of Shipboard Revenue and Operations
Prior to joining the cruise industry, Mandi studied Criminal Law at Washington State University and went on to have a 13-year-career in the logistics and transportation field. She then spent 18 years with Royal Caribbean managing a wide array of onboard operations and marketing initiatives. Mandi joined Park West Gallery in 2020 as Marketing & Production Manager for the online telecast program and moved on to Vice President of Shipboard Operations within the year. Today, she oversees Park West’s partnerships within the cruise industry, shipboard operations, compliance and more.

MORRIS SHAPIRO, Senior Gallery Director
As Senior Gallery Director, Morris (familiarly known as “Morry”) is intricately involved in a number of Park West’s daily operations, including training new and existing art auctioneers; writing and production of print, web and video content about Park West’s art collections and artists; the direction and implementation of various marketing initiatives; supervising of Park West’s research team; interacting with the public to present Park West’s collections; and assisting customers with their acquisitions.

STEVE BOGGS, Director of Information Technology
Steve serves as Director of IT at Park West, where he oversees technology strategy, infrastructure, and security to support the company’s operations and long-term growth. With nearly two decades of IT and leadership experience, Steve has managed enterprise systems, cloud environments, cybersecurity, and vendor partnerships. Before joining Park West, he built a strong background in IT management and support across corporate and client-facing roles. Steve is passionate about delivering reliable, secure solutions that empower employees and protect company assets while driving innovation in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

MARK LANCE, Director of Special Projects
Mark joined Park West in 2006 first as an Auctioneer on cruise ships. He then worked on the VIP events team at one point, and was responsible for helping to create and manage online auctions. Today, he works across departments, supervising a team of more than 20 individuals in addition to managing all land-based galleries. Mark finds great reward in directly improving processes that result in a happier art collector.

LAUREN MESAROS, Director of Merchandising
Lauren began working at Park West Gallery as she worked toward her eventual Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a concentration in drawing from Wayne State University. She started in an assistant role within the Merchandising team and has worked her way to her current position as the Director of Merchandising. Lauren is the trusted “right hand” to both Albert Scaglione and Marc Scaglione.

KAREN PEGG, Director of Marketing
With a degree in Fine Art and Design and over 15 years of experience in marketing and advertising, Karen was the first hire at an award-winning eCommerce startup, helping grow the team to 46 employees before serving as Executive Marketing Director. She also has experience developing marketing initiatives for creative businesses and nonprofits throughout Detroit. At Park West, Karen channels her passion for art and design into collaborating with artists and bringing art into the community. She leads marketing initiatives for cruise ships, galleries, and telecasts, helping to broaden audiences and engagement.
