Our showrooms at the Gallery in Southfield will be closed to visitors Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day. Normal visiting hours will resume on Tuesday, September 7th.
Peter Nixon discovered his love of art at an early age while visiting the National Gallery and the Royal Academy of London. His exposure to the works of Da Vinci awoke a fascination with drawing and drafting that has resulted in a mastery of the energy and movement of the human form. Further influence encouraged Peter to employ sumptuous color and texture in his painting. Today, Peter’s work is a masterful combination of “sketch style” and “ornate style” that captures both complexity and spontaneity in a rich tapestry of image, line and color.
