Wayne Cooper (1942–)
Whether he is working in acrylics, opaque watercolors, or lithography, Wayne Cooper creates visions of a tranquil and graceful country. His paintings are simple yet complete with the illusion of detail. Cooper was born in 1942 in De Pew, Oklahoma, and studied at Valparaiso University in Indiana. He has traveled extensively throughout the west, making sketches to be used later in paintings and graphics.
