Jorge Tarallo Braun was born in 1951 in Montevideo, Uruguay, and studied at the National Arts School, Montevideo.He worked under the direction of South American artists Riveiro and Garino. In 1972, he first visited the United States and currently divides his time between the United States and Uruguay. His paintings have been exhibited across the United States, including the Emily Lowe Gallery, Hofstra University, New York; Walton Street Gallery, Chicago and The Old Olive Tree Gallery, Scottsdale, Az.
