Born in Carlsbad, New Mexico, in 1940, Don Crouch received his Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of Iowa, Iowa City. Currently, Crouch teaches art at Western Illinois University, Macomb, where the Presidential Merit Award was bestowed upon him for his achievements.

Among the many galleries and museums where his works have been exhibited are Kalamazoo Institute of Art, Mi.; Keokuk Art Center, LA., Scottsdale Center for the Arts, AZ. Museum and public collections include the Cleveland Museum of Art; Illinois State Museum, Springfield; Tyler Museum of Art, Tyler, TX.; Scottsdale Center for the Arts, AZ. and Arkansas Art Center, Little Rock, AR.
