Antonio Rivera was born in a small village in the Province of Barcelona. He left school at a young age to study with his father, an artist and designer. At the age of 23, in Barcelona, Rivera had his first exhibition, which was well received by the critics. Since then he has had numerous exhibitions in Spain, Sweden and the United States. A skilled lithographer, he creates impressionistic landscapes that have a surreal quality. He combines childhood memories of Catalonia with his sensitive impressions of the French countryside.
